Geiser's Cookie
Monsters
                   Hi,
I have lived in Lehighton, Pennsylvania for twelve years.  I now reside in Orefield to be closer to family
members.  I grew up in Palmerton, Pennsylvania and graduated from Palmerton Area High School.

I received my B.S. in Education from East Stroudsburg University.  I taught second  grade at Carlisle
Private School in Virginia for two years. I taught for four years in second and first grades in Rockingham
County Schools in North Carolina.  I took some time off from teaching to care for my daughter Rachel
until she went to Kindergarten.  Then I substituted in the Allentown and Lehighton Area School
Districts.  This will be my seventh year teaching Kindergarten in the Lehighton Area School District.

We lost our daughter Rachel in January of 2008.  We miss her everyday.  However, it is being a teacher
and enriching the lives of my students which helps me muddle through the times that I miss her.  Rachel
loved books and school and attended Mahoning Elementary herself.  There is a bench on our playground
with her name on it.  My wish for everyone is that they will be as happy in their lives as I know Rachel
was is hers.

My husband Brad and I were blessed with the arrival of our son Viggo Vincent on May 20th, 2013.  He
is growing everyday and always bringing us joy as we watch him learn about the world around him.
As a family we like watching the ball games at Coca - Cola Park in Allentown,  going for walks, visiting
the beach, and having fun with friends and family.

I enjoy learning with you.  I say learning with you, because even though I am your teacher, I learn many
things from you.  Probably as many as you learn from me.  I enjoy being with others, learning, teaching,
and having fun.  I especially like to sing!  You will learn how much I like to sing when you spend the
year with me. I like to be silly sometimes too!
